The Types of Research

Basic Research / Pure / Fundamental:
 The study of formal and systematic process which aims to develop a theory or model
 To find a lawyer-generalization of rules or laws relating to science.

Applied research:
 research to solve real problems on the basis of theories or hypotheses that can be used This study aims to test the theory in the real world

Scientific research says, if:
The goal is clear
Rigor, which is done by careful, thorough and meticulous
Can be tested and reviewed
Can be repeated by others
Accuracy and confidence (population / sample actually exist)
Objective (data taken must be of facts / reality)
May otherwise apply to public
No exaggeration, either written or performed
Consistent, using the same word or phrase that means the same
Coherent, intertwined relationship between paragrag with paragraphs, among the sections, or between chapters.
